Session 1

Missed Session 2 and 3.
I was specially interested in google docs. so I took some notes from the chat:

  • students may overwrite each other (Wikis overwrite more)
  • uses colours down the bottom to show who's doing what!
  • if students are all on gmail Google docs is an easy thing for them to do
  • History discussion features missing
  • public vs private
  • Google docs as more "work in progress" thinking for the class.
  • It's possible to export the docs

"I'm using it for my master's thesis. I've got several editors helping with it"
"They read the Gita at night with the directions to annotate verses -- then in class, they worked on compiling their thoughts into full understanding of the text"
